Founded in 1746, Banque Marcuard became one of the most important finance houses in Europe. After the Napoleonic Wars, it continued to play a significant role in the industrial development of modern Switzerland and remained one of the most important private banks until being acquired by Credit Suisse in the early 20th century.

In partnership with Marcuard cousin Hans-Joerg Rudloff, who serves on a number of Boards of Directors, including presently as Chairman of Barclays Capital, we have created Marcuard Heritage.
